Run Dialog
Margaret wants to boot her Windows 8.1 machine and without logging on, go straight to her desktop.

She didn't want to go through the process at boot time prompting her for her password, interrupting and slowing down the procedure.

She explained that she only reads news or uses her computer's word processor to write "snail" mail, all her financial transaction do not occur in cyber space which greatly relieved me.

I checked "Professor Google" and found 2 solutions that worked which put the administrator into "User Accounts" dialog..

Firstly you must get the "Run dialog" up by pressing the  Windows Key+R keys.

Type in the "Run dialog", where your prompted with the "Open:" entry field with either of the following utilities:
  1. control userpasswords2
  2. netplwiz

The run utilities starts the "User Acoounts" dialog from which you will be able to clear the check box indicating that the, "Users must enter a user name and password to use the computer".

Incidentally I tested the solution under my Windows 7 operating system and it worked there too.
